Optical Fibre Joint Closure
(Splice Closure)
It is used in the joint of two or more optical fibres. Fibre from different cables are fusion spliced and kept safely inside the splice organiser provided inside the OFC joint closure. The closure is buried inside the earth (Manholes) or hanged on to a pole in case of Arial cable. There are straight or branched joint closures for armoured or unarmored optical fibre cable.
